From the first phone call to ongoing aftercare, here’s the route every project takes — in plain English. No hard sell, no hidden extras, no disappearing after handover.

The Process
1. Initial Enquiry
You contact us via phone, email, or our website form. We'll have a brief conversation to understand your requirements, energy usage, and what you're hoping to achieve. This helps us prepare for the survey.
What you'll need: A recent energy bill is helpful but not essential at this stage.
2. Site survey
We visit your property to assess the installation requirements. For solar, we check roof orientation, shading, and structural suitability. For heat pumps, we assess your heating system and insulation. For EV chargers, we check your electrical supply.
Duration: Typically 30-60 minutes for residential, longer for commercial projects.
3. Detailed Proposal
Within a few days, you'll receive a comprehensive proposal including:
- System design and specifications
- Product datasheets and warranties
- Projected performance and savings
- Fixed-price quotation
- Finance options if required
- Applicable grants and incentives
We're happy to explain everything and answer questions - no pressure to decide immediately.
4. Order & Planning
Once you're ready to proceed, we collect a deposit and begin the planning phase:
- Equipment ordering
- DNO notification or application (for grid-connected systems)
- Planning permission if required
- Grant applications (WCS, BUS, Salix)
- Scheduling installation date
We handle all paperwork and keep you informed of progress.
5. Installation
Our experienced installation team arrives at the scheduled time with all equipment. We work efficiently while respecting your property:
- Clear work areas and protect flooring
- Professional, uniformed team
- Regular progress updates
- Clean up thoroughly when finished
Duration: 1-2 days for residential solar, 1 day for EV chargers, 2-3 days for heat pumps.
6. Commissioning & Handover
Once installation is complete, we thoroughly test the system and commission it ready for use:
- Full system testing and verification
- Set up monitoring apps
- Walk you through how everything works
- Provide all documentation and warranties
- Register for SEG or other schemes
- Complete MCS certification
7. Aftercare & Support
Our relationship doesn't end at handover. We provide ongoing support:
- Remote monitoring (where fitted)
- Technical support helpline
- Warranty support and claims handling
- Maintenance services available
- System performance reviews
