The Challenge
A multi-tenanted business park in Milton Keynes with 500+ employees across several corporate occupiers needed to address growing demand for workplace EV charging. Key challenges included:
- Limited existing electrical infrastructure
- Multiple tenants with different charging needs
- Need to avoid expensive DNO upgrades
- Requirement for fair access and billing between tenants
- Future-proofing for increasing EV adoption
Staff surveys indicated that over 30% of employees already owned EVs or planned to purchase one within 12 months, making workplace charging a priority for tenant retention.
